Invoicing FAQ
Do I need QuickBooks to use Steelie?
No. QuickBooks integration is optional. Steelie has its own built-in invoicing, payment tracking, and reporting. The QuickBooks sync is available for businesses that want their PDR data to flow into their existing accounting system.
Can I customize invoice appearance?
Yes. Invoices and estimates include your company logo, name, address, and contact details. Tax labels and rates are configurable per company. PDF output is professionally formatted and ready to present to any customer.
How does payment tracking work?
Mark invoices as paid, partially paid, or outstanding. Track payment methods and dates. If you use QuickBooks, payment status syncs automatically. The dashboard shows outstanding invoice totals and revenue summaries at a glance.
